Rent Renewals and Extensions

The minimum term for an AST (Assured Short hold Tenancy) is six months. At the end of the six months, both parties may choose to renew for a further six/twelve months or alternatively the contract can remain in place on roll on a periodic agreement. We will contact both parties, two months before the AST is due to expire to expedite the process for all extensions.

Rent Increase

Should the landlord wish to increase the rent, at least two months notice is required after the initial term has been completed.

End of the tenancy

On receipt of notice to terminate the tenancy from either party in writing, we will make the necessary arrangements for check out and inspection as well as commencing the search for new tenants, if required.
